Mental performance coaching for athletes in the Gunnison Valley who are ready to compete at their best, mind and body.
You've trained your body for years. Your mind deserves the same.
Mental performance coaching for athletes who Care.
I know how much you care as an athlete.
You train hard. Your sport matters to you.
I have seen the early mornings, the extra reps, the long drives, the full weekends, and the sacrifices that happen behind the scenes.
I have also seen how frustrating it is when you are doing everything right physically, but when the pressure gets high, something shifts mentally.
You perform one way in practice and another way in competition. One mistake turns into five. You replay games long after they are over. You walk away knowing your body was ready, but your mind got in the way.
For some athletes, it looks like performance anxiety. For others, it shows up as perfectionism, loss of confidence, frustration, difficulty returning from injury, or feeling mentally exhausted by the pressure of trying to perform at a high level.
Struggling in competition is not motivation problem, and it does not mean you are mentally weak.
Most athletes spend years training their body and very little time learning how to work with their nervous system, their thoughts, and the emotional side of competition. No one teaches them how to execute when pressure shows up.
This is where mental performance coaching comes in!
Mental performance is for you if…
You are hard on yourself, even when you are doing everything you can to get better.
You care deeply, but confidence feels inconsistent.
You struggle to recover after mistakes and one bad moment changes the rest of your performance.
You trust yourself in practice, but competition feels different.
You are returning from injury and your body is ready, but your mind is not.
You are constantly thinking, overanalyzing, or second-guessing yourself in the middle of performance.
You are successful on the outside, but internally it feels harder than it should.
Can I help You?
If you've ever walked off the field knowing you left something out there, not physically, but mentally, you're in the right place.
I work with athletes of all ages and levels. Whether you're just starting to take your sport seriously, pushing through the pressure of high-stakes competition, returning from injury, or trying to build a career in sport that lasts, I meet you where you are. We work together from there.
The athletes I work with care and want to apply our work to their practices and their games. They expect results and this is what we see.
I assess your mindset and offer you real practical tools that work in any game, tournament, or competitions.
This what we work on in your sessions.
This is more than a pep talk:
Mental performance work is not positive thinking, and it is not someone telling you to “just be confident” or "relax."
It is learning how to regulate your body under pressure, understand the thoughts that shape performance, and build the emotional awareness needed to compete consistently.
We work on confidence, self-talk, focus, emotional regulation, routines, motivation, recovery after mistakes, and how to perform when things are not going perfectly.
Because confidence is not something you wait to feel,
it is something you learn to build.
Start with a free 20-minute call. We'll talk about what's getting in the way and whether working together makes sense.
